(Former) Research Assistant, Transform911

Amber Thomas is currently a Research Assistant Intern for the Transform911 Project. She is passionate about public policy, public health, social justice, and economic justice.

Amber has diverse experiences in immigration, affordable housing, STEM education, racial justice, social justice, environment/climate justice, advocacy, voter outreach, and campaigning.

Amber is a senior at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. She is double majoring in Economics and Public Policy with a concentration in Planning and Economic Development. During her junior year, Amber started her own online vegan cupcakery.
